Samurai teppanyaki is a great experience for dinner especially in a group. We were surprised to find a good Japanese restaurant on St Kitts but Samurai is fantastic. The pricier dishes also include ice cream.

One thing to be aware of when eating out in St Kitts is that many of the restaurants add the government tax onto the bill rather than including it in the menu price. It’s 12% and some places add on a 10% service charge too so watch out for this before leaving a tip.
A worthy mention- there are 3 food courts in St Kitts. Two are operated by the local Rams supermarkets one located in Bird Rock by cash and carry the other located in West Farm and the third is located in Port Zante. They all have different food trucks and are mostly geared for take-out although there are ample seating areas with wooden benches if you want to sit and eat it fresh. It’s all packaged up in a polystyrene container with plastic cutlery though so it’s worth taking your own container and silverware to help save the planet 😊
