Where to Go in St Kitts at Night?
The Strip
Probably the most well known area for nightlife in St Kitts is The Strip in Frigate Bay. The Strip is popular amongst locals, expats, students and tourists who want to have some drinks, play volleyball, dance or sing the night away.
As the main concentrated hub of restaurants and beach bars in St Kitts we can’t talk about the nightlife in St Kitts without mentioning The Strip. The Strip has 11 beach bars all offering something unique to the nightlife in St Kitts and most of them are open all day and night and also sell food and have a happy hour of some description.
Another great thing about The Strip is the location. It is right on the south Frigate Bay beach on the Caribbean side of the island so you are just steps from the warm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Most of the beach bars along the Strip are open all day so you can easily spend the day soaking up the sun on one of the best beaches in St Kitts or swimming in the beautiful clear water before starting you night out in St Kitts.
The Strip is the perfect place to watch the sunset in St Kitts with a couple of drinks and if you’re lucky you may see the infamous green streak before partying the night away.

Mr X’s Shiggidy Shack
Have you even been to St Kitts if you haven’t been to Mr X’s Shiggidy Shack? Probably not!
Shiggidy as it’s affectionately known by residents living in St Kitts, has lots of different nightlife on offer throughout the week. Wednesdays is the very popular trivia night where anyone can join in to win a case of free beers.
There are some seasoned veterans at Trivia night and we remember when it first started just after lockdown in 2020. Anyone is welcome to make a team though and it’s a fun night out in St Kitts.
On Thursdays there is live music by different local bands and a beach bonfire and Saturdays the whole bar gets packed out for karaoke night so brush up on your best karaoke songs and join in the fun.
Mr X’s Shiggidy Shack also sells good cheap bar food including, burgers and pizzas.
Best night to visit: Wednesday for Trivia, Thursday for live music and Saturday for karaoke

Sprat Net
Sprat net is a little off the beaten path but it’s worth the journey out to Old Road town. What was once a small shack offering freshly caught seafood has turned into a huge restaurant which still does fresh seafood and is still run by local fishermen.
The food is delicious and you can choose from freshly caught lobster and fish whihc could be snapper, mahi mahi or wahoo depending on the catch of the day. This can be combined with chicken or ribs and comes served with corn, baked potato, bread roll and johnny cake. They also have fresh handmade pizza which are huge.
On Wednesday and Friday nights sprat net gets extremely busy for the live local band singing some old classics. We recommend arriving when they open at 6pm to get a good table near to the band and to get your food order in right away so you don’t have to wait when it gets busy.
We love going here and dancing away at one of the best nights out in St Kitts.

Shipwreck Beach Bar
Shipwreck is a lovely chilled beach bar on south Friars beach on the peninsula. It is one of the best beaches on St Kitts and we love hanging out here having a swim or snorkelling on the reef but Sunday is the best day to visit for nightlife.
On Sunday evenings the bar is filled with live music from local bands and people flock here to drink and dance into the evening. It is a lovely chilled out vibe and one not to be missed at night in St Kitts.

Bary’s Bar & Entertainment
Bary’s Bar is a hidden gem for nightlife in St Kitts, it is popular amongst locals and students and not well known about for tourists. But we are here to deliver the best nightlife in St Kitts and we think Bary’s deserves a spot. They have happy hour from 7pm-9pm Thursday through Saturday with food and drink deals.
Located in Birdrock along the main road more or less opposite customs you will find Bary’s Bar, starting on Thursday nights with ‘Baryoke’ this place comes alive. The party continues all through the weekend with cheap food and drinks on offer so it’s easy to see why it’s popular with students.
Best night to visit: Thursday for Karaoke

The Dock
The Dock at Timothy Beach Hotel is located on The Strip and has entertainment multiple times a week.
On Fridays they have karaoke which anyone can join in with and Sunday nights has some of the best nightlife in St Kitts. Sunday nights they have live music from local bands or the resident DJ which is supposed to end at 11pm but can often go on until the early hours.
We recommend getting there early to enjoy happy hour from 3-4pm with half price local beers then catch the sunset on the beach before relaxing into the evenings entertainment.

Reggae Beach Bar
One of the most popular beach bars in St Kitts is Reggae Beach Bar because of its beautiful location on Cockleshell Beach whihc is one of the best beaches on St Kitts.
Reggae has some great events throughout the year with special events taking place on all the big holidays.
They also have some of the best St Kitts nightlife on Fridays when they have their Lobster Fest event which includes special offers on drinks and live music from local bands Gharlic & The Upper Level.
Lobster fest is a sit down meal (lobster plus your choice of ribs, chicken, fish or shrimps plus sides) followed by music and a bonfire on the beach. Beach bonfires are one of our favourite things to do at night in St Kitts as there is nothing better than watching the roaring fire by the sea and stargazing with your friends.

Zanzi Bar
Zanzi Bar on The Strip is the place to be for nightlife in St Kitts at the weekend. Starting on Friday nights the bar comes alive with the resident DJ playing music all night long including soca favourites and song RnB oldies.
A favourite Friday nightlife spot for students Zanzi Bar is one of the best places for dancing the night away in St Kitts, while Sunday is the most popular day for locals to party in St Kitts.
Zanzi Bar also do a buy one get one free on Margarita Mondays from 5pm-7pm every Monday. They also show all the big sporting events on the huge screens around the bar which makes it popular with sports fans.

Mojitos Bar is a relaxed air-conditioned Cuban themed bar upstairs in Port Zante that offers a laid back atmosphere with comfortable casual seating and special deals on drinks.
Friday night they have a 2 for 1 offer between 5pm-8pm and with the Latino rhythms you can relax and unwind.
As Mojitos is part of La Casa Del Habano, which has the largest cigar humidor in the Caribbean, you can also buy some speciality cigars recommended by the onsite expert to smoke while you sip and relax. Mojitos is the best relaxed mature nightlife spot in St Kitts.

Buddha Bar
Buddha Bar is a funky small nightlife venue in St Kitts which also serves food. The menu is pretty good with a mixture of Thai, Sushi and Chinese food.
One of the main appeals of Buddha bar is the hookahs with lots of different flavours to choose from it’s the only place in St Kitts where you can smoke hookahs so it gets very busy on weekends.
On Friday and Saturday nights Buddha bar also turns into a nightclub with club music and dancing it is a favourite nightlife spot for locals in St Kitts.

Club Karma
One of the very few actual nightclubs in St Kitts, Club Karma is the place to be if you want to dance till the early hours. Open Friday and Saturday nights Club Karma has many themed events throughout the year where guests can dress up in their finest attire and party the night away.
If you are looking for nightlife in St Kitts then Club Karma should be on your list but like with most nightclubs there is an admission fee which depending on the event usually includes the first drink.

Royal Beach Casino & Sky Ultra Lounge
If you are looking for something different to do at night in St Kitts then head over to the Marriott Hotel and try your luck in the Royal Beach Casino. As one of the largest casino halls in the Caribbean with more than 100 tables and machines there’s something for everyone.
The casino can be a fun night out in St Kitts and you can really spend as little or as much as you want, if you are playing at the tables you get free drinks from the bar so if you are lucky you could end up making more than you spend.
If gambling doesn’t appeal to you then you can still go into the casino to enjoy the Sky Ultra Lounge bar which has signature cocktails with comfortable seating and mood lighting it’s a relaxing night out in St Kitts. They also have happy hour from 5-7pm daily.

Going to the cinema is always a good night out grab some drinks and snacks inside at the concession stand. At the Caribbean Cinema in St Kitts there are 7 screens which all show different movies so you can see all the latest blockbuster movies on the big screen including in 3D.
There’s also an arcade inside the cinema which has plenty of games for children and big kids to enjoy. We particularly enjoy playing at the air hockey table before we go in to see a movie.
Top tip: Avoid the early evening showings at 6-6:30pm if you don’t want lots of children commentating throughout the movie.

Night Time Kayak
Night time Kayaking with St Kitts water sports is a fun activity to do with friends at night. Hop in the glass bottomed kayaks and paddle along the coast following some of the best snorkelling spots in St Kitts and see all the creatures that come out at night time including the bioluminescent plankton in the water.
Curious creatures are attracted to the LEDs in the glass bottom kayak so you are sure to see plenty of fish. Nightime kayaking is suitable for beginners and children too as this tour is fully guided by an instructor.
