At the moment travel is up in the air and many people are looking for ways to cure their wanderlust for a little longer. We have felt the strain too and we have been trying different ways of travelling from home while international travel is difficult. One of the things we do on a weekly basis is an international date night, where we choose a destination and cook a meal together from that place and listen to some music and really get into the feel of being abroad.
If you are not very adventurous in the kitchen or you are not sure where to start with an international date night then we recommend a Destination Date Nights experience.
Recently we were gifted a Destination Date Nights experience which includes all of the ideas you need and more to start off your international date night. The PDF download contained a full 3 course recipe, drink recipe and fun game to play as a couple. It also included a comprehensive list of movies and series set in or about the destination and a full playlist recommendation to really make your evening special.
Note: no food or drink is included in the purchase.

Our destination date night was to Brazil! We started off buying all of the ingredients we needed which is usually easier said than done in the Caribbean but we surprisingly found everything on our shopping list. We started preparing our meal mid afternoon and sampled some of the cocktails as suggested in the menu.
When we had prepared everything we started watching 3% which was one of the recommendations in the pack for series to watch. 3% is a Brazilian series about a dystopian universe where only a privileged few are allowed to live in luxury and the trials the population go through to become the chosen 3%.
After a few episodes we cooked the meal which was really easy to make, the portions were generous and the recipe made enough for 2 people easily. Then we got dressed up for date night and as we sat down to eat we put on one of the recommended playlists and grabbed another cocktail and it really felt like we were away for the evening.

The food was delicious and afterwards we played the game that came with the pack, which was fun and something different we wouldn’t usually do together which made a really nice change.
After the delicious food and our experience with destination date night we can’t wait to actually travel to Brazil!
